8 Life Lessons I’ve Learned in 80 Years – Jim Stahl talks everything from backswings to business.

This year I am approaching a monumental milestone – I will turn 80 years old this month, and my successes and failures have taught me a lot along the way. If I could impart any wisdom on my 18-year-old self, I would share these eight things I’ve learned over the past 80 years – one for each decade.

Everyone was on the edge of their seat during the 2018 Masters tournament as Jordan Speith tied for the lead on the 17^th hole. There was a good chance that he was going to win as many had predicted, but unfortunately a bogey cost him the green jacket. That’s the game of golf we’ve grown to know and love – always keeping us on our toes.

If you have been a loyal CBT customer for many years you may remember reading “Chip Shots”, a column that Jim Stahl wrote for our company newsletter that started in the 1980’s. We wanted to bring back the column to show, that despite the digital age and evolving business climate of today, we are still committed to the old fashion service and “mom and pop grocery store” morale that you’ve come to know and trust since the beginning.

2015 will be remembered for some almost historical moments in the history of golf. Tiger Woods' reign in golf stopped abruptly in 2015. It had been hanging by a thread for several years, and we watched as his body just shut down and his golf game left him.
